"We really wanted to enjoy this property, however the property wasn’t what was advertised so we could not. This property is a single family home turned into two separate rentals. Both renting parties share parking, outdoor spaces, and pool. While the host was prompt with their responses, we did not get a welcome feeling from them. "The apartment is very cozy, lovely, and spacious. Equipped with everything you need. Two cons though, there’s always performers around the corner playing music till 10pm. The other one is it takes a lot of stairs to get to the apartment. And the apartment does not have lift, so we needed to carry our luggage upstairs. "

Overflowing Hospitality!

"Really appreciated the warm welcome and offer of a drink from the staff upon our arrival. Also, the unique and gracious personal welcome letter the staff had written which was in our room. They were most helpful throughout our stay with info regarding restaurants, directions, parking, sights to see, etc. "

You NEED to stay here if you're visiting Coimbra

"WOW. This hotel blew our expectations and anticipations out of the water. From the first interaction, they, especially Catarina, were incredibly friendly, helpful and helped us settle right in to Coimbra. Then there's the property itself. The original stone walls and arch ways, the VIEWS and the furnishings are just breathtaking. Out of all the places we stayed in Portugal during our 10 day trip, this was the location we wished we could go back to most. Cannot recommend highly enough. "
