"It was a lovely place to stay, though reception closes at 5.30pm so can be a bit tricky if you get there late. However, they do send the instructions which are clear. The continental breakfasts are good. The staff lovely and spoke English. My only problem was getting the TV to work, though I didn't really watch much. I would be happy to stay there again. Convenient walk to metro and eateries"

"A very nice comfortable hotel in Barcelona's city center. The owner is very friendly and she has owned the hotel since 2013. My room had a soft bed and lots of room to move around. After being on a cruise ship for two weeks, it was nice place."

"The place is an old very stylish building reconditioned as a hotel. It is beautiful, we've stayed during winter and it was cozy, clean and quiet. It has a very large and amazing terrace that I believe during spring and summer is an amazing place to hang out and enjoy Barcelona. The staff made every single effort to make us feel at home, even finding out that our checkout was earlier than the offered breakfast and fetch us an earlier breakfast just for us. "There is nothing bad to say about this property. Victor and Anna are wonderful hosts but mostly it is like having a beautiful apartment to yourself. Really comfortable bed and a great shower with nice smellies supplied. Everything is walkable but otherwise it is on a main bus route. Loved my stay here and would recommend it to anyone"

Since returning home over 6 months ago I have raved to dozens of people about how amazing and incredible this hotel is and I have recommended every single one of them if they travel to Barcelona, they should stay here. I was here in mid July so the weather was bright and sunny and 30 degrees every day so the air conditioning within the hotel was much needed; I would honestly say that it is some of the best air con I’ve ever had in Europe. "Sonder Casa Luz Barcelona was a fantastic stay! The stylish decor, clean rooms, and great location near Plaça de la Universitat made for a wonderful experience. The reception staff was welcoming and made check-in a breeze, and we really appreciated being able to store our luggage after checking out while we were out exploring the city for the day. "This W never disappoints. Even though the hotel is nearly full, service was still fantastic. The gym is well equipped, has plenty of space and a gorgeous view. Food and wine are excellent and of course being on the beach makes this hotel unique in Barcelona. The only drawback is that you have to take a taxi to get anywhere - but small price to pay"

"Great location. Superb area to stay. It is close to transportation and one can walk to all major points of interest. Ample food offerings, supermarkets, laundrymats, shops, etc. The attention from the staff was outstanding. The service was impeccable at reception, the restaurant/bar, and the rooms.
