"We had a lovely stay. We arrived very late and the manager gave us instructions to get in and left the room key where we could find it. Our view of Loch Ness at breakfast was breathtaking. We enjoyed a full Scottish breakfast and my latte was perfect!"

"Beautiful old hotel. I arrived to a beautiful old hotel lodge lobby. It’s lined with fantastic old pinewood panelled walls. The staircase was also quite nice to look at. The staff were very friendly and parking was easy. My room was clean, nice and warm. Good hot water pressure, comfortable bed and it was quiet at night. I used the Highland Hotel as a base to drive around the Upper Highlands for a few days. Definitely a great pick. I didn’t eat or drink at the Hotel, but the bar looked good with plenty of comfortable places to sit. I had a nice stay. 👍"

"Beautifully located Inn. Bedroom was comfortable, clean and quiet. Lovely comfy bed and bathroom with rainfall shower. The restaurant onsite is superb. Freshly cooked local products. Extensive wine list with a range of spirit options, including local spirits. "

"Stayed for one night following completion of the NC500. Good to see Loch Ness although we missed Nessie on this occasion! Very easy check in and great facilities right in the centre of town. A few places to grab food nearby. We had a Chinese takeaway. "

Mark the host was genuine and accommodating. Started off my first trip to Scotland here and would happily stay again! Fabulous stay! "
