"Villa Ulivi is a brand new B & B set up in a beautiful rural area of Basilica. The hosts were extremely helpful despite our language differences and went out of their way to ensure an enjoyable stay in this wonderful new build villa which is no more than 200m from the SS648 and well positioned for either Potenza to the south or Melfi to the north. "

"Upon arrival I ran the bell and no answer even though the lobby was supposed of been opened at 7:30. Arrived around 1130. Had to call the number listed on the front of the building. Person who answered told me I did not have a reservation. I said yes I did I have a confirmation number. He said OK I’ll be there in five minutes. Took him 10 to 15 minutes. Then he had us walk around the building to another entry which turned out to be another B&B. He had us meet with the lady she took us upstairs...

"La camera e la struttura sono molto belle, Donatella è gentilissima. Peccato che Hotels.com non l’abbia informata della prenotazione e pertanto, al nostro arrivo, le stanze non erano pronte ed abbiamo perso un’ora attendendole. Nonostante questo, si è attivata subito. Inoltre l’indirizzo di Hotels.com era sbagliato, se non fosse per questi disagi sarebbe stato tutto perfetto. Posto veramente fantastico immerso nel verde, anche se con una strada difficile per raggiungerlo. "

"The check in was a breeze. The breakfast was the typical breakfast in Italy with Italian cakes, cut up fruits, sliced local Kraft type cheese, yogurt, Italian croissants (home made), toast bread, and Italian cookies. The cons of the hotel: The wifi internet never worked. Actually we could never get it took to work with our cell phones. We tried on 6 different iPhones including an iPad . When asked the hotel staff to fix the wifi internet the person who worked when we were checking out said...
