“I feel like I've paid just for the view”

The hotel is in a desperate need of remodeling and refurnishing. Everything looks old, rusty, outdated. The room (the inside of it) was OK and the view fantastic (the ONE and ONLY good part of our staying). On the balcony the "jacuzzi" was not working and when we asked why they've said that the entire hotel stopped using them for years! So, what's the point then of having a chlorine-saturated tub on the balcony and even advertising it?!
So: the room was nice (we have had an upgrade, I have to admit), the view was more than satisfying and the housekeeping deserves a raise.
The lobby, the elevator's area and the restaurants- deplorable. I will attach pictures to sustain what I've said.
The food- awful. Absolutely awful. They advertise 10+ restaurants but when you get there you find out that the "sushi bar" is closed because "it's not the season"(!!!), two of those places are small like hell and they serve some sort of molecular food (to be honest, you need real food, not molecules in your vacation), another two "restaurants" have Mexican and Italian sort of food, "gourmet" but not at all satisfying, and there's another place, definitely the most interesting one, named "The Black Hole" where the show deserves a 10+. I want to mention here Mizael, Cesar, Alejandro and Axel: GREAT JOB, guys! But you don't go to the Black Hole to get full, if you like to eat good, satisfying food (like a steak, for God's sake!
