For my 1st visit to Cancun, my goal was to experience more of downtown culture, before moving to the hotel zone for a few nights. Mission accomplished. My stay here was great! This is small family run hotel. I’m not sure, but maybe there are 10 rooms. My room/bathroom was super clean, wifi and a/c worked great, etc. Diana speaks perfect English and is super nice. She was around all day to help out. My only note is that you can hear general city noise. Not a big deal for me, but I just wanted to note.
As some have posted in reviews, there are no signs for this place. If you arrive during the day when the restaurant is open, you can enter there. If you are arriving super early or late, you might want to just drop them a message to give a heads up.
As for location…You can hail a taxi or city bus from the main street, about 100’ away. A large Soriana supermarket is very close, but I liked the Chedraul more, just a few minutes further. Mercado 28 is about a 1-mile walk. There are a bunch of restaurants in close proximity. They also operate a restaurant and café window store in the hotel. I only ate there once, but it was excellent. Thank Casa Mallorca for your hospitality!
