We stayed here for 9 nights in early January. It was the first time in Cancun for all of us. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.I will say that if you want perfection, this is not the place for you. For the price, I felt that it was a good place. The layout was comfortable. It was fairly well equipped. We were able to cook and eat most of our meals at home, as we prefer. There are two different outdoor patio areas, both with a table a chairs. There is access to multiple swimming pools. The property felt safe and secure with a manned gate 24 hours for entry and exit. There was plenty of AC in the house. The layout is pretty good. 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths upstairs, and kitchen/living areas plus 1/2 bath on the main level. The not so good: hot water was very unreliable. Even when there was hot water, the shower didn't maintain a constant temperature. Fortunately the cold water isn't very cold. The faucet in one bathroom sink was missing the aerator, and if you turned it on very high, it shot right over the edge of the sink and all over the front of anybody standing at the sink. We ended up putting a towel there all the time to catch the water, because it was difficult to turn on the faucet at a slow velocity. I imagine this will be fixed soon, as the owners seemed to be actively making improvements. Those were our two biggest complaints, neither of which caused us much distress as we are accustomed to these types of issues when traveling to this region.
