"The Woodstock Inn & Resort is the quintessential New England inn. Walk in the lobby and you are greeted by a large warm fire. The staff at all levels were gracious and helpful. The room was large, well decorated and extremely comfortable. Great location to walk downtown even with single digit temperatures. The shops were expensive but worth browsing & buying. "

"Like walking into another area; historic hotel. Unfortunately the room and upstairs area were in pretty bad shape; bathroom had rusty water and bathtub needed updating. We were fine with it, but other travelers just need to adjust expectations on room conditions vs. website!"

"The bathroom floor could have been cleaner but overall I had a nice stay. I know my room was to be a far walk so the girl behind the desk decided to move me (I use a cane) only I had a king and went to 2 queens right above the pool. The staff was very nice, restaurant very good as well as breakfast. I’d come back again and stay only keep my king. "
