Private driveway. Only 2 cons, must have rental car because located in a hard to access part of Trabia, roads are difficult to navigate. And property owners speak very little English, so just plan to use google translate. Highly recommend if you are looking for the real Sicilian experience!"

"Villa Cottone è bellissima!!! Our family of 8 adults and one 3- year old thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our week-long stay. The Cottone Family is extremely accommodating, responsive and helpful. "The Villa was lovely and set in a very peaceful location but near enough to the local town (car required). Only 8 miles to the beach but mountain roads so a slow journey but very enjoyable with spectacular scenery. Some very nice local restaurants and a local small supermarket. Only problem we had was that there was no hot water for the entire holiday. They came to fix it on the day that we were leaving. Apart from tat everything else was great. "

"Great villa located a short distance from Altavilla. Home was large and spacious with great AC (rare in the area) and fresh new finishes. Outdoor area was nice as well. Host was very helpful, meeting us by the highway exit to help escort us to the property to make sure we did not get lost. We accidentally left behind a luggage as well and they were very accommodating in picking it up. Great experience, very friendly for international travelers."
