"Used this hotel as a base for a weekend wedding. The hotel has a lovely village nearby with nice places to eat and a stunning beach town that is only just under a 10 minute drive away. "Our stay at Aparthotel Iris was fantastic. The location is great, literally a minute walk to the beach and few minutes walk to the train station. There are bars and restaurants on the doorstep of the property and others not too far away. The ownership were very amenable and helpful with anything we needed. "We had a lovely time. The apartments are in an excellent location with easy access to a store and a few restaurants. The shared garden is awesome for kids and with a 15 minute walk you can get to the beach. The staff was super nice. The beds were "on the harder side". We spend around 8 days there. During the week, it was calm and peaceful. In the weekend there was some partying and noise."

"Wonderful property that's close to old town site seeing but not loud that can happen if you're in the middle of everything. Being on top of the hill has the advantage of best place to see the city below and sunset from the beautiful roof top terrace over the mountains on the other side of the city. The location also can make it a bit difficult to walk bach to hotel as other reviews have noted. It's not that bad and if needed you can stop to catch your breath on one of the walls. It is a very short walk to the shops and restaurants down in the old town area. Everything was well cared for and clean. They have an online restaurant and bar so you don't need to head down again if you want to stay there in the evening. Area seems safe and is residential so no need to worry about being out late at night. Highly recommend this modern friendly hotel!"
