"The estate is very beautiful, absolutely stunning property! The room was nice and the staff were friendly. The only downside is the parking is a bit of a walk, and their golf part drove past us walking up the hill a few times without offering us a ride, but we’re young and able so maybe they thought we just didn’t want or need a lift. It didn’t impact our stay overall!"

"Podere Castallare is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately we did not have a relaxing stay. Music was played at full volume directly into our bedroom from the bar from around 4pm - 11pm every day. It was so loud we could not spend time in our room. The air conditioner was broken and not fixed. We were treated rudley at dinner by the manager, which added to the tension in the atmosphere."

Our only criticism is that we we’re originally told the restaurant would be open the first night we were there and it wasn’t. "We had an absolutely amazing time staying at Agriturismo Podere Picciolo. Immediately upon being greeted, we were taken care of as if we were family. "Had a great time again with our family and the dogs. The house may not be the most modern, but it’s clean and huge, and so is the domain with its large terrace and amazing view. Roberto and Alicia are very helpful and are very respectful for you privacy. The region is perfect for hiking and mountain biking, and the restaurants and shops are not very expensive. So I would truly recommend this place is your into the true Italian rural /nature experience . We will definitely come back."
