"Hotel Caesar Augustus, perched high on the peaceful slopes of Anacapri, felt more like a private panorama than mere accommodation. Our room opened onto floor‑to‑ceiling windows and a wide terrace, so every glance took in the full sweep of Capri’s limestone cliffs and the shimmering Bay of Naples. Each evening we lingered on the balcony, watching the sky fade from coral to indigo behind Ischia, Procida, and the distant outline of Vesuvius—a nightly show we’ll never forget. The location could not have been better: a leisurely five‑minute stroll led us to Villa San Michele, the Monte Solaro chairlift, and the cafés and boutiques of Anacapri’s historic center. Inside, our suite was airy, spotless, and generously proportioned. Downstairs, the bar mixed inventive cocktails alongside a tempting menu of light bites, while the main restaurant delivered polished Mediterranean dishes worthy of the view. It was our first visit to Capri, and the warm, attentive staff at Hotel Caesar Augustus turned it into something magical—an experience we’ll carry with us long after the ferry pulls away from the island."
