"An idyllic retreat away from overcrowded touristic areas. Owner and staff are amazingly kind and helpful. Nice breakfast buffet. The property has been gorgeously renovated and exudes a romantic, relaxing atmosphere. Only downside: no elevator, which is understandable, given the historic building, but a pain after a day out in summer heat. "

"The road up is narrow and a little challenging but so worth the breathtaking views !!! The pool overlooking the hills and the manicured landscaping were top notch! We were close enough to a small town to enjoy the local restaurants good food, groceries and other towns to do day trips as well. The Villa had everything to make our Stay very comfortable. "My husband and I drove from Naples to enjoy the beautiful Tuscany scenery amidst our travels throughout Italy. Unbeknownst to us, GPS guided us on a much different path than we expected. A narrow winding unpaved trail up the mountain side was not what we expected and we decided to work our way down before getting stuck on the mountain path with a flat tire. When I called Marco to let him know that we would be delayed, he quickly came to the rescue and picked us up and drove us to the villa....
