"We had a wonderful time at Margarida’s place-she’s truly thought of everything! We were a group of 10 family members including a baby, 6 year old and 11 and 14 year old. We all felt we had our own privacy and there were lots of places to eat and chill out around the property. The photos do not do this place justice! Margarida was a wonderful host and was on hand on the phone if we needed her but allowed us our privacy at the same time. We would love to return!"

"My goodness, what an amazing property! Although distant from most major hotspots, it is smack in the middle of nature, and far away from the traffic and noise of civilization. "Great property exactly as described, and the setting and views were just the best! The local town 20 mins drive on the river is Amarante and it stole our hearts. The drive straight down the mountain to a slightly closer town Celorico de Basto is not for the faint hearted, and was not repeated. The TV was in French which was a bonus as we don't speak Portugese. The host was very accommodating of our very late arrival at 11pm due to flight issues and responded to all messages immediately.A great...

"The house exceeded all expectations, especially the outside space, pool and gardens. The views are superb and we enjoyed the variety of places we could sit to view the surrounding countryside and sky. Very well equipped kitchen and BBQ which was above average for a holiday let. Our host was extremely helpful and her recommendations for local food and activities was fantastic. Did not want to leave after a week. "

It's in a very small town without many amenities, but there is a great kitchen and supermarket just a few min walk away. The property is immaculate, and very modern.
