"Great stay, all staff were very friendly. This place is super dog friendly (I actually think nearly everyone in the building had a dog) During our evening meal one item on the menu was not quite right and they quickly sorted it out for us. The food was delicious too, including breakfast. The room was spotless and a lovely view across the valley."

"Disappointing. The bathroom fittings needed some attention. Sink basin stopper did not work. Toilet seat loose. Light switch chain broken. Light bulb out and a hole in one of the hand towels. The hotel Wi-Fi did not work in our room. Our mobile phones registered ‘no service’ in our room. No white sugar or decaf coffee supplied to our room. Overall staff were very friendly and polite. "

The ambience & the decor is beautiful but it was the service we received by all of the staff and the food which was the highlight of our trip. "Really enjoyed our stay. Only negative was that the dinner menu was the same each night. The staff were very friendly and polite. A very dog friendly hotel too - you had the option to have meals in a nice room with your dog - this isn’t the case in some dog friendly hotels. Would stay again."
