Spacious Home Near Amenities in Calumet; Sleeps 10

Our house is bright, airy and spacious. The open concept living area is lovely for large groups to prepare food, eat, and visit. Four bedrooms give privacy for groups. Our large back deck area and yard provide plenty of outdoor space. Grill your dinner and dine outside or sit around a bonfire at dusk. We are a two minute drive to the world-class Swedetown Ski and mountain bike trails, 45 minutes from Mount Bohemia, and less than a mile from snowmobile and ORV trails. Two Lake Superior beaches are within ten minutes of our place. Our neighborhood is quiet and we have lots of privacy.

The space
Raw edge wood shelves in our kitchen, open shelves and a unique light fixture in the living room make our space feel very natural and cozy. The open living space makes it easy to hang out with your whole group. All of our bedrooms have good size closets to store your things.
The local grocery store, Dollar General, gas stations, coffee shops, and restaurants are three minutes away.
We get lots of snow up here in the winter, and we have lots of fun places to play in it nearby.

Great place to stay. We were here to drop some kids off at Michigan Tech. It was a 20 min drive from Houghton. House was very clean and great outdoor deck and fireplace. Neighborhood was quiet. Host were easily accessible by text and quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic rental
House was very well stocked and comfy! Plenty of room for my 8 person family to stay. Beautiful yard and deck for playing/ relaxing. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is our second year staying here for a family reunion and we have not been disappointed. The house is always clean and it is close to the city of Calumet. The owner is very good to communicate with. Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to stay here again.

Perfect location- short drive to Buckey's -Calumet waterworks and within walking distance to downtown calumet. Our family had plenty of room to spread out everything was clean and the kitchen well stocked to cook our meals. Our host was wonderful!

Excellent Jumping Off Spot for the Keweenaw
I loved the house, and it’s a great location. My daughters and I especially loved being minutes away from Lake Superior and calumet waterworks park. It was very clean and well stocked with plenty of room for 5 adults and two toddlers. Hope to be back again!

Great Snowmobiling Retreat!
Very roomy for our group of 8. The basement was a great place to put on, take off, and store our gear. Ample parking for our trailers. Everyone was able to spread out and enjoy themselves. Will definitely return!

The house was clean and response from the host very quick. The house backs up to atv trails that lead to mountain bike trails. Location was great between Copper Harbor and Houghton. Plenty of room for 8 adults and mountain bike gear.

Great house for visiting MTU student
House was perfect for our stay for MTU Winter Carnival. Plenty of room for several couples and a couple kids. Kitchen is so roomy and has everything to cook a meal if you want. Games including foosball table to have fun at night. Downtown Calumet with coffee shops less than a mile. Calumet Water Works park is 3 miles and a great place to see Lake Superior beauty.

Everything about the home and property was great. Perfect central location for giving a tour to the family that hadn't been to the Keweenaw before. My ONLY complaint would be the beds. other than that, A+.

We went to Calumet for a girl's weekend. It did not disappoint. We enjoyed the downtown - some really great authentic antique stores and shops. The coffee shop was fabulous. The property location is fabulous - just a mile from downtown. Great deck to chill on. Price was fabulous - there were four of us and we each had our own room/tons of space to just spread out and relax at night. Amenities were great/we had what we needed to cook, etc. Our weekend was affordable, fun and authentic. Couldn't have asked for more!

Wonderful house!
Our family was in town for our youngest graduation from MTU. We had several adults and two young children. The house was clean, comfortable and very well stocked for a family. From the gas grill (with spare cylinder) and large deck to the toys and games to the full array of children’s dishes and flatware to the bonus espresso machine, it touched all the bases. Homeowner was very attentive to answering texts and questions. Home was very comfortable for our family gathering and has excellent proximity to MTU and the Keewanaw peninsula.

Beautiful Home
Home was set up beautiful with the open living, kitchen and dining room. Bedrooms were clean and very comfortable beds! Everyone slept with no problems. Oven/Stove does need a little more attention, as we used the oven, and the smoke detectors would go off from the smoke coming out from the oven. As there was something that was on the bottom prior to us using it. We didn't have any cleaning supplies to clean it. Other than that, everything else was clean. Thank you !

Disc golf getaway
We came to both visit with Daughter from MTU and spend a couple of days disc golfing @ Lake Calumet, Lake Linden, and MTU course. We enjoyed our stay, as well as the food and service @ Miner's Cafe in Laurium, The Hut on 41 just North of Calumet, Cafe Rosetta in Calumet, the Ambassador in Houghton, and The Library in Houghton. We will be back again to disc golf and enjoy the areas hospitality!

Very spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood, but close to town. If we'd had more time, we could have played some backyard games. Everything we needed was there. We really enjoyed spending time on the roomy deck (we lucked out with perfect weather). Living room and eating area had lots of room to gather. Everyone said they'd stay there again.
