Overall, the property was nice and clean upon arrival. Clearly recently renovated, it was a pleasant environment.
The ad, however, does not state that it is actually a duplex, and not a house. The ad says that it sleeps 10 people, but there are only 2 beds (4 people), and one couch. It also says it can hold up to 15 people, but it is smaller than it appears in the photos. I had 15 people over for an event and it was a bit uncomfortable. I wouldn't advise more than 10 people over at once.
There weren't a lot of check-in and check-out requirements which is nice, however, there weren't any directions regarding the property. There was a mix up with the door code, which is not a big deal, but it only added to the confusion of there being multiple doors and no instructions.
We were told there was parking in the back alley but the parking spot wasn't shoveled or salted, and there were garbage bins in the way. The sidewalk up to the front door could have been salted as well.
It was a nice enough stay and we had a fun event, but I do not think that the space was big enough to justify the steep price. We paid over $500 for one night.
Lastly, I sent a message to the owner to clarify details and never got a response. I ended up just having to book it without a response because I was running out of time. Once the booking was confirmed, however, it was very easy to communicate with the owner. They always picked up the phone quickly which was helpful.
