"Where to begin. The outside looks great then you get into the actual building. It starts off with no lighting in the hallways. Once getting to my room we encountered a Smokey, cold dwelling with hints of dog or other animal. "Accueil sympathique mais c'est tout...en 4 nuit les serviettes de bain n'ont pas été changées et lits n'ont pas été fait...chambre et salle de bain minuscules pour 3, literie de très mauvaise qualité, très mal insonorisé, pas de fenêtres, clientèle très bruyante, pas de gel douche ni de shampoing et 1 seul rouleau de papier toilette en 4 jours...bref hormis l'accueil sympathique et la proximité du centre ville rien de bien. On est quand même presque 100€ la nuit a ce prix là nous attendions...

"Bonavista is at the edge of the tourist area, in a quiet part of Calella. 10 mins away from the beach, the same distance to the main street with the restaurants & shops. It is a very basic hotel, but very clean. Rooms were cleaned & bedding changed daily. "Great hotel, with friendly staff. Really good value and the breakfasts were good. Ideally positioned in the old town away from the noise of the bars at the far end of the resort, and only a minute or two to the beach. The area is beautiful and even being the world Cup final weekend (which I didn't realise when I booked it!) it wasn't too loud or rowdy. Very pleasantly surprised by both the hotel and the resort. Stayed for 5 nights with 2 friends."

"A fuir au plus vite 10cm de poussière sur le ventilateur de plafond donc impossible à allumer des poils dans les draps des serviettes tâcher pas de fenêtre à par qui donne sur la chambre des voisins d'en face super l'intimité. "A very nice little apartment hotel which I used while at Ironman Barcelona. The hotel likes the event so was very accommodating of bikes and things like that. Very friendly staff, chatted about how things were going and were happy to answer questions. The room was a little basic compared to a more expensive hotel, but for the price it was fine. Only thing to watch out for is the reception is closed 1-4 in the afternoon so if you turn up then you'll have to wait around. Would definitely go...
