"Before I booked I read all the reviews and there were those who hated the place and those who obviously loved it so I decided to give it a go. We have a house on the coast so at worst we could have driven back home. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The Fonda is situated right in the centre of a pleasant village and the reception was manned. "An extremely well presented property in a truly stunning location. Even with a language barrier our host was very welcoming and gave us complete privacy during our stay. The property itself was spotlessly clean. I imagine the temperature we arrived in was unusual ( heatwave of 40 c ) but going forward having a fan in the apartment would be nice. "I really enjoyed my stay here. The view from the apartment was so beautiful, facing a mountain with a lot of trees and huge boulders, through which small yellow and white wild flowers were thriving, and a creek running down below producing waterfall-like sound. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a full size kitchen. The only negative was that there was mold in the bathrooms and my husband said he could smell the mold when he was talking a shower. "
