"What a find! Centrally located in a "local traffic only" part of Lisbon. Surrounded by the livelyness of the city, this is a peaceful oasis in the midst of it all. We stayed in one of the one bedroom appartments in high season for a very reasonable price. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed! "This building was more than a century old! Many of the furnitures in the room are antiques too! The room is fine, othen than the fact the there is no private bathroom - 3 rooms share one in each of the two floors. The bathroom is in disrepair and the walls had water leak marks. Someone may not accept this as condition for hostal, but for a 100 yrs old building, can't argue much. Location is prime. "We had a great stay at the hotel. Literally across the street from El Cortes Ingles, walking distance from Ave Liberdade, literally a subway entrance in front of the door. Hard to find a better location. Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. Only concern is that there are no AC in the room."
