"Spacious and comfortable throughout. Standard of cleanliness needed improvement. Only cursory instructions given for tv. Electricity was tripped about 10 times when oven was switched on. Useful laundry room, good shower with plenty of hot water. Could be wonderful with some improvements. We did enjoy our stay."

"Very creative way that this apartment was designed. We were happy with everything. One small exception. No laundry soap. That should always be provided so that the renters do not use the wrong product in the owner's machine. We are on a two-month European Vacation and we must do laundry. "Heidi and Paul were amazing hosts, ensured your time with them was perfect but also considerate of your privacy. Location was perfect, sat on the patio watching the deer, amazing sunsets and night skies. Property provided exactly what we required with a very comfortable bed. "We had a wonderful week in Trémolat. The gîte was just on the edge of the village - a 2 minute walk to the boulangerie in the mornings. Lovely quiet location. Amazing pool! Lots of pool volley ball played by our family. Gîte was very well equipped. Would have been 5 stars if there was air conditioning as it was very hot when we were there and didn’t cool down much at night. Nonetheless the gîte is in a lovely location and close to amenities. "Merci Joël pour ce séjour! Super extérieur, spacieux et agréable, ombragé avec jeux pour enfants, vraiment top. L'intérieur est bien équipé, seuls les piliers limitent la convivialité du salon. En période de canicule, nous avons trouvé dommage de ne pas avoir au moins un ventilateur, faute de climatisation. Joël est très agréable et sympathique, il nous a même mis des vélos à disposition."

"We liked the property and the great location near the main center of town attractions. All walkable. Showers were nice. Kitchen was fully stocked but the stovetop was interesting to learn how to use (You Tube). I can see where the deck outside would be very useful most of the year. The only parking is pay parking so that should be clear but it is very close and sometimes in front of the building. Around 11 Euros per night and plenty of spaces. We used Bergerac as a central base to sortie out...

"Pas moyen de dormir dans la chambre car plafond trop bas donc ont à été obligé de dormir sur un vieux cliclac, pas d'eau chaude, lavabo qui fuit, micro onde qui ne chauffe pas, taque électrique hors service, pas de place pour ce garer à proximité du logement !! "The perfect gitte for a relaxing stay. The gitte and pool were clean and well maintained. The pool was private, surrounded by greenery with cicadas croaking in the heat. The owners have thought of everything, the gitte was well equipped and spacious. The owners are on hand if needed and are lovely and friendly but at the same time provide you with privacy. We couldn't fault this wonderful find. The village of Couze St Front has a couple of boulengeries supplying delicious breads and patisseries...

"Fabulous week in the Dordogne based at this property - very rural and quiet but lots of lovely towns and Chateau’s and other things to see and do in the region so you will need a hire car to get around. The Gîte is superbly welcoming and comfortable - has everything you need for your stay. Craig and Caroline are fantastic hosts too, full of great advice beforehand when planning your stay and also on hand if needed while there. If I could 6 stars here I would! "
