"We had a canal view and watched the gondoliers being prepared in the morning. Breakfast and service was great. The elevator was fine but could be slow if people checking in/out. Very convenient to St Marks square and Doge Palace. Some construction noise that started up at 6.00 a.m but nothing to do with this charming hotel."

Overlooking the canal meant that it was a bit loud in the evening as there is a patio restaurant/bar just below, but it was very manageable.
