"Mandala staff go above and beyond! They are truly the highlight of a stay here. So helpful and kind. All the little things are taken care of without you having to ask. Airport transfer - done. Room cleaned while having your spa service - done. The spa is also really nice and super relaxing. I highly encourage anyone staying here to take advantage of the spa. "I stayed in the green room of this hotel and it’s definitely a boutique hotel that makes you feel like you’re at home, had some amazing conversations with the manager and enjoyed every second here. The room was clean, the bed was cozy and the AC got cold. It was also a great location right next to the beach. If you want a great stay for your money this is the place to be. "

"Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. There were good and bad things but if I was to go back I could stay there again. It’s a cheaper option than other hotels in station 2/3 as it’s still a bit of a walk there (20 min to station 2 for example) and therefore is located in a quieter area away from the crowds - that was a must for me. The beach is great, right in front of the hotel and is mostly empty as most people go to the beach nearer the area of station 2 so that was also perfect for peace...

"The bad first, there are cracked tiles and exposed wires in various places around the resort, but that's typical of the Philippines, the only places where everything is in perfect working order are five star and foreign owned. "The hotel is almost too big. Staff were friendly, but I prefer the smaller resort hotels in the Philippines. Staff are more attentive and it feels more homely. Hotel restaurant was expensive but goods. Five minute walk to the beach or transportation out front to get there easier. Pool was big and nice. "We thought the property was nice enough, but quite expensive compared to other options in the area for not much extra. We had to change rooms to get the room type we requested, and the room we ultimately ended up in had construction going on in the hiding next to it, even through the evening, so sleep was difficult.
