"This is a great resort location on the beach with two pools and two restaurants. Breakfast buffet is only EUR 10 and dinner buffet was only EUR 25 (prices may be higher in summer). The beach is walkable and about 2kms to the Rota Lighthouse. I spent the first afternoon walking along the beach to the old town and then returned by street to see the old town and newer section. One item different from U.S. properties is that neither of the pools is heated and there is no hot tub. The pools...

"This was a great little hotel, we would come back tomorrow! Our room was just lovely. Perfectly located for everything you need, but in a very quiet little street. Staff very helpful and unfussed. Lovely little sitting lounge on the ground floor with books to read (various languages). Fantastic old typesetting work table as an antique to look at. "The staff were excellent and parking was very good. It was a short 20 minute walk to Gibraltar. The outside of the building was being renovated at one end away from us and the elevator was out of service for about 1 hour over a two day stay."
