"We had a wonderful 12 day stay! The Meynard family is very helpful and nice, the greeting was warm and friendly, and they were always available for anything we needed. They went above and beyond our expectations. The cottage is absolutely charming and very comfortable. It had everything we could possibly need. "The former wine cellar stay was very much like we wanted. Some rustiness but plenty modern with all the conviences. we cooked often and enjoyed eating on the patio. It is secluded and quiet - a good 20 minutes from the city, but we enjoyed it. Jean Micheal was great with instructions and communications even though he was on holiday in Italy. "This very clean and comfortable cottage is in the country a short drive from Sainte Emilion. Quiet, pastoral setting. It was out base for drives in the area and for a relaxing time at the end of the day. We opted for the breakfast which was very reasonable and delish - yougurt, fruit, pastries, juice and coffee.
