Maro is very fantastic and quite place, where you can spend lovely holidays. Location allow you to visit many popular places in Andalusia : Grenada, Nerja, Malaga, Caminito del Rey, Ronda... "I had two wonderful weeks in Casa Colleen, a beautiful town house in a well kept and pretty complex. Perfect location on a quiet road, close to Buriana Beach and the town centre. The large south facing terrace, beautiful living area and bedrooms, a kitchen with all necessary appliances, strong wi fi and TV with Swedish and English channels contributed to a perfect holiday. "What a fantastic holiday. The house was perfect and full of character. Lots of places to relax in the sun and shade. Wonderful location in a peaceful village but within driving distance from Granada, the coast and other surrounding towns and villages. Siobhan was very helpful with lots of information about the house and surrounding area. Particularly enjoyed the walks from the village, including the gorge. Would recommend to anyone interested in a peaceful holiday."

"We did not spend more than 10 minutes we left and checked into a hotel instead. It was very difficult to get to. Downstairs the beds were not made and the kitchen not good. Overall disappointing."

"Die Küche inklusiv Kühlschrank und Geschirr waren nicht sauber und wir mussten erst mal eine Stunde putzen. Die Decke und die Dusche im Bad waren voll Schimmel. Die Wasserversorgung reicht kaum zum Duschen und manchmal ist kein Wasser vorhanden. Der Pool war nicht gereinigt, dafür aber sehr stark gechlort. Was den Spaß im Pool nicht minderte. "Nice and romantic little house with fantastic view of the mountains and Coast. Some would not like the road to the house. It is steep and narrow with no roadside railing. But for me it was not a problem. Remember.... The second bedroom is not part of the house as seen in the photos and the bed in the small loft is HOT and no A/C gets into the room.. But overall a nice place to stay."

"This pretty old villa is ideally located on the main road between beautiful Frigiliana and bustle Nerja. Ideally located within up hill walking distance to romantic Frigiliana which hosts many lovely restaurants, or an easy 10 min downhill bus ride to Nerja. Having the little bar close by was also very convenient. A spacious clean villa and beautiful garden and pool. Stephen was a great host. "

"Very nice apartment unit. Close to everything. Front desk staff super friendly but it was not available for 24 hours which was a bit inconvenient. I booked a non-smoking room but the unit had very strong smoke smell when We first got in. It was obvious that the previous customer smoked! It was terrible, we had to open all the windows for a long time to get rid of the smoke smell. We couldn’t get a different room because we were told that was the last one available. "

"Loved it! Super clean and an amazing hidden gem. The room was very spacious and the amenities were great. Great attention to detail. Loved the location and the staff were very friendly. Love the open plan hallways and the keyless entry into rooms. Was amazing, will definitely come back! Only two things to raise: 1) the pool had a strange smell at points in a localised area (around the changing room), nothing we couldn’t handle, but enough to notice 2) the pool isn’t heated (not an issue as I...

"Absolutely loved this hotel. The self check in is confusing at first but you sort it out in the end. Super clean and you get access to other facilities at the Gran Hotel. However the communication was a bit confusing as we didn’t realise what we had access to on the last day there. Staff were so helpful when we left luggage with them. The bathroom is the best! "

"Safe, clean and perfectly located. Hotel staff was exceptional!! We had an early morning train and they had breakfast prepared for us to take on our journey. We can’t wait to return to Granada. A shout out to David Murcia who made our stay more special due to his hospitality and making us feel so welcomed. "

"Great location close to the Alhambra and the centre of the city. Very good helpful staff, lots of eating places around. Book your Alhambra tickets over a month in advance or you have to do what we did - pay the earth for tickets from scam ticket resellers. Tainted our visit to Granada."

Perfecto on all counts

"Overall an excellent stay from the moment I checked in to when I left. The room I had was newly renovated, quite large, well laid out, eco friendly (although a recycling bin would have been good) and spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable and the shower (controls) the best and easiest to use. A small Juliet type balcony was a really nice addition. I was offered daily breakfast at a promotional price and the buffet was good and very adequate. The staff at the hotel were all excellent but special mention of Alberto who was very thorough, friendly and professional and Alexander on the front desk who assisted with a dinner reservation. Staff at breakfast were all very good. The hotel is very well located and close to a lot of things. Would I stay here again… ABSOLUTELY"

" Modern hotel, loved the amenities and the room. Room was facing the street that we didn't hear. The hotel is 15- 20 minute walk to the main center. Very friendly stuff. Taxi was easy to book and arrive promptly. Booked the room with parking. That was the right choice, parking was full. "
