Directions were easy to find the key location and get to the apartment. Anywhere you go realize you’ll be going up and down some stairs and usually staying on the 2nd-4th floors if it’s your first time. WiFi worked well. "Nice size apartment with two bathrooms, sitting room, kitchen, and bedroom (with a bathroom). Nice lighting in the kitchen and sitting room with big windows overlooking a green courtyard. Very private location and walking distance to all the sites in Venice. Off a great bustling square, but down an alleyway where it is quiet and private. Restaurants everywhere. The kitchen and bathrooms could use a deep cleaning. Other than that, it is a great place."

"We wanted to stay away from crowds and in a Venetian neighborhood, so this place was perfect for us. There was enough space for the two couples and we really liked having two bathrooms. Within a couple minute walk in multiple directions are cafés and restaurants that were fantastic. And there are nearby vaporetto stops if you don’t feel like walking, though getting to the Rialto bridge or San Marco piazza is only 10-15 minutes. "

Luigi and Jane coordinated our water taxi to and from the train station to their water gate right at the property courtyard entrance. Perfect stay for three couples. "This apartment is located very near both San Marco and Rialto, and all the sites there. It is the perfect location from which to explore all the beauties of Venice. The apartment itself is well appointed, clean and comfortable, and Carlo and Monica are great hosts. This is our second stay and we found it as delightful as the first. "First we were told we would need to wait 1.5 hours with our luggage until the host could meet us. I told him we’d be there before 6p. Later I said between 2-3p. He texted that since I said before 6 he made plans and was busy until 4:30p. Check in was listed as 2p so I found this upsetting. The bathroom was filthy.
