"House was better than described--should include a picture of the deck that runs the length of the house and overlooks the yard and lake! Perfect size for 6 adults and 1 baby. Kitchen accesories were better quality than a usual VRBO.DD coffee, charging outlets next to the bed; Meyers soap in the bathrooms; plenty of trashbags, dishwaster soap, beach towels, etc! Great dock!"

"We stayed for Talladega race weekend and had a wonderful time. The house was clean, and comfortable and exactly as pictured in the listing. Located right off the highway not too far outside of Jacksonville on a large property with a nice pond for fishing! "

"Two friends drove from different states and met in the middle...Oxford AL! Enjoyed the house and had plenty of space, enjoyed Hubbards on Main for dinner and a church service nearby. Although we walked a short block to the quaint downtown (truly, so close), we occasionally faced a stray cat or barking dog off leash. Very easy check in and out. Great communication with the host. Thank you for your hospitality!"

"9 of us (7 adults & an 11 & 13 y/o boy) in my family met up at this property for a 3 night stay in junction with going to Talladega for the races. It was an ideal location to go back and forth to the track. The outdoor patio, yard, and dock & lake access were wonderful, especially due to having two young boys with lots of energy and a love of swimming & fishing! The sunset on Friday night was magical. "First off, Gary was responsive to my messages and our needs. The camper was nice and perfect for our needs. Being by the lake is awesome and fishing was pretty good from a kayak with my sons. Keep in mind, our family enjoys nature and the outdoors and all that comes with it. 🙂 We were in town from Thursday to Saturday for a baseball tournament and after a hot day at the field, it was nice to come jump in the lake or sit on the dock or take a nap after a nice shower. One day, we will be back!"

"Check in time is not until 5:00 pm. I was told that the code would be sent a few minutes before check in, but had to call the host to get it after 5. The front door was stuck and very hard to open and close. The host eventually got us a usable code to enter the kitchen door using a key from a carport area lockbox which was so much easier. We had some other issues, but the host was very responsive in addressing those. The grass was high and the overgrown shrubs at the front entry made it hard to...

"Quick last minute getaway for my son's birthday. Cute cabin at Logan Martin Lake/Coosa River. Weather cleared up so the kids (ages 20, 18, and 16 - almost 17) could swim on Saturday. Dogs were allowed, so Rosie could come, too. Had fun playing games, watching movies, and even trying to finish a puzzle. All the pontoon boats were already rented, but we had fun anyway!"
