"My wife and I stayed at this property during our recent visit to Lassen National Park. This property was a short drive to the park and very easy to find. The property was clean, the kitchen very well stocked and the bed very comfortable. I was impressed with the personal items the owner thought of such as night lights, toothbrushes/cases and toothpaste! If in the area, I would stay here again."

"Gorgeous, private home in the forest close to Lassen Natl Park. Kitchen well stocked. Comfortable beds. Plenty of towels. We really enjoyed our stay here. Celebrating my 69th birthday and there was lots of room for all. Eric is a great host! Highly recommend this beautiful home."

"If you want to stay in a northern CA, retro, early 1900’s with updates, one family owned cabin this is your place. It’s got the original wood kitchen cabinets and checkered linoleum floor with enamel sink, no air condition, no garage, and more details of its time period. Closets and drawers have owner items but there’s room for your things, too. The staircase is steep and wood, not toddler or senior friendly. Both bathrooms are on the 1st level with 3 bedrooms of 4 located on the 2nd level so you have to do the steep steps for a middle of the night bathroom visit. Pluses were a plethora of board games, a fuss-ball table and deer roaming in the yard entertained our group of children 1-6 years old. Negatives were lack of window screens for cooling down the house in summer and mediocre bedding. Modern cabin was not what I would title the listing but we enjoyed our stay."
