Located in the mountains just a few minutes from lake Almanor and Mountain town of Chester.Creeks, Hunting, Fishing, UTV or ATV mountain off-roading , within 2-3 miles distance.... Winter is special and beautiful with snow and perfect setting for Christmas and Thanksgiving away . 2 blocks away within walking distance is a quaint restaurant offering home cooked food. All towns people are very friendly welcoming all who visit. Spring is delightful in the pine tree setting all around. and the aroma of pine where squirrels, rabbits, deer are visible everywhere in the rustling woods..

Lassen Volcanic base camp
This cabin made for a great base camp while visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park. It had everything we could need (and more) inside. The location was very close to the main road through the park and was within walking distance of the Mineral Lodge which had some great food.

This house was clean and very well stocked with everything we might need. They even left some snack out which my kids loved. Great location to Lassen Volcanic National Park. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Gateway to Lassen National Park
Perfect location for my daily trips into the national park. Everything I needed, full kitchen, washer/dryer, comfortable bed and nice deck to enjoy my morning coffee. Very peaceful and quiet. Thank you!!

Wonderful Stay!
Cute cabin the heart of Mineral. Lots of rustic charm, clean, well-stocked, and spacious. Hosts were easy to communicate with and quick to respond to our questions. Cabin is very close to Lassen and a short drive to Chester. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

I think we hit the rainiest day of the summer😆. The cabin was close to the park and in a great little town. We met a lot of nice folks and enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Great little gem!
Met some girlfriends here to hike the surrounding area. We loved the town and neighborhood. The house felt so welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of extra little touches. The place was very clean and well laid out. Would highly recommend!

The unit was cozy and comfortable, but wasn’t cleaned up from the previous stay. However the owner was understanding and provided a partial refund. Would recommend!

Cozy Mountain Cabin
This adorable cabin located in the heart of Mineral, is the perfect family family getaway spot! The house is generously stocked with everything you need for your stay and our very sweet host left extra goodies and amenities for our kids, which was beyond thoughtful! The backyard and patio area are beautiful and relaxing with a large BBQ to use. My family and I had such a relaxing and peaceful time and we can’t wait to go back! I highly recommend this cabin!

This property is a nice, clean and well stocked cabin. Located in Mineral in a very low key neighborhood, it is not fancy but it is comfortable. It is priced fairly and has everything you need to be comfortable. I will stay here again.

Lovely little cabin that was very well accommodated. The host was super communicative and very patient after I asked a few things that were already provided in earlier communications. She and her husband even left a birthday gift for my son when they learned we were there to celebrate his birthday. Would definitely return here again if/when we plan another trip to Lassen.

Marvelous cabin
The cabin is remarkably well equipped. It takes a while for the two heaters (propane and electric) to warm the rooms on cold days. The bed is very comfortable. The owners are very responsive.
