"Pictures are deceiving and wasn’t clean upon arrival. There were a number of issues during the stay but the location was nice."

"I was really unhappy about the state of the cottage. It was once clearly a lovely cottage. Nicely decorated with quality fittings. But it was dirty and grubby. Starting at the front door. Weeds at the doorstep, dirty windows, cobwebs, grubby carpets, marked walls, dirty coasters, unopened mail in piles, filthy kitchen cupboard shelves, cupboards under stairs full of dirt and untidy, kitchen under sink filthy and stinking, back garden full of weeds, absolutely disgustingly filthy velvet...

"Lovely property in quiet county setting. We were a group on 8 friends staying for a long weekend. Plenty of space for us all to sit and relax. Well equipped kitchen, had everything needed to make our stay memorable. An hours walk across the fields to Southwold with its old fashioned pier, fish and chips and Adnams brewery and distillery. We booked a tour of Sizewell B nuclear power station that was well worth a visit!"

"Generally the property was in good order. Unfortunately the garden areas are not well maintained and this detracts from the overall look of the property. The location is ideal for visiting Aldeburgh and the surrounding area. Basic essentials are somewhat lacking and one or two maintenance issues."

"I had a fantastic stay at the Knox this week. The place was so cosy, beautifully decorated and all the amenities were easy to find/use. The bed and sofa were extremely comfy and the fish pond is an EXCELLENT bonus!"

"The property is in an excellent position, close to shops, restaurants and the beach, there was parking outside. The bedding and bathrooms were clean however the carpets and upholstery was very stained/dirty. The fridge door was difficult to open as it has no handle, I realise it didn't quite fit into the space but even a stick on handle on the door would have helped. The courtyard garden was unloved and the patio furniture was dirty. The flowerpots outside the front door were full of weeds,...

There is no parking to the side, as the lane is needed for ambulance access. Road parking nearby is very limited. * The kitchen is missing several bits of equipment to cook for a large party. "A lovely spacious barn, fully equipped with an amazing games room which we thoroughly enjoyed. We celebrated NY here, and all had a great time. Hosts were lovely, beautiful outdoor space, and easy access to some lovely beach walks. Would highly recommend and hope to return again."
