"It's a historic hotel. Has free parking. Great ambience. Surrounded by beautiful historic small downtown. Visiting our granddaughter who is a freshman at Kenyon University, so we hope to visit her many more times before she graduates. We live near Indianapolis, IN, so about a 4-hour drive. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Expedia got us a great rate."

"We stayed at this cabin last year, and the kids wanted to go back. There was plenty of room for 3 families and me, Grandma. The kitchen was large and fully equiped as we took turns cooking meals. "

"The house was clean, cozy, and spacious. The property is large with several well maintained trails for exploring. Even if you get stuck inside, there are a ton of board games, puzzels, and a ping pong table to keep you entertained. There are several large televisions as well, but I appreciated that there was no television in the main seating area where the kitchen is; it was nice to be able to focus on people rather than a screen. Honestly, if you bring food with you there is no reason to leave the property, they have anything else you could need for a great time. If booking for a larger group, I would double check if the house can accommodate however many you have. The property manager told me there was a guest limit of 5, but it's listed to sleep 12, and just from being there looks like 9 would be comfortable. It was not an issue for our small group, but again if booking for a bigger group, double check to be safe. I would certainly stay here again and honestly felt lucky to have had spent time in such a well maintained place. "

"A very attractive, pleasant and comfortable property with an "everything works perfectly" kitchen and plenty of room for our entire family group of 8 adults and 2 kids .. only relatively minor problems, the TV remote needs replaced as it works very poorly and the hot tub had some kind of issue and stopped functioning during the later part of our stay .. the nearest town (Butler) has absolutely nothing going for it, but there are a couple nice eating places farther up the road at I-71 and Rt 97 in Bellville and, as it was the week between Christmas and New Years, the decorations and lighting display at Kingwood Center a little farther yet up the road in Mansfield were super nice ..
