"We were camping in Lake Somerville Birch Creek Unit but wanted a cabin for some cooking and beds for non-campers. This was a great option. Really close to state park and comfortable cabin.Located in a RV park that made friendly neighbors, the a/c was great, beds comfortable, nice shower & kitchen"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Little Black Cabin over Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen had everything we needed, and both the bed and the sleeper sofa were incredibly comfortable. The cabin offered a peaceful and quiet retreat, while still being conveniently close to stores and family. An added bonus was the electric car charger, which wasn't mentioned in the listing but was greatly appreciated!"

"We absolutely loved our stay...just one negative...the beds were very uncomfortable. When sitting on them, it sounded like they were going to break. We could feel the springs in our back and we sank to the middle. Rolling over was very loud. The mattresses need to be replaced quickly. We were there for a Select Softball Tournament for my daughter. She has mild scoliosis but usually has no problems with hotel stays. Her back and sides were hurting after sleeping on these beds. "We really enjoyed our stay at Lakeview Cabin. The lot was spacious, and it was an easy walk to the lake. The house was well stocked and clean. There was an abundance of games in the lower level with plenty of oudoor seating. Kristen responded quickly to questions prior to our arrival-easy communication. We will be back!!"

"The silo and property are beautiful and decorated with whimsy. Unfortunately no seal on front door so a lot of bugs in room. It didn’t bother us but overall would prefer less bugs. Would recommend adding some hooks or a shelf in bathroom. Otherwise very charming property"

"Owner was easy to communicate with, the property was beautiful and set away from it all; but still 15-20 minutes from downtown Brenham. Kids were able to roam, check out the livestock, fish, and relax at the pool. Plenty of room to grill and cook, all while relaxing at the end of baseball tournament games. Will definitely be making a returning booking."

"We loved the cabin!! It was so peaceful and quiet. The place was super clean and very well taken care of. I am a Texas history fan and I was truly blown away by all of the historical stuff around the house. This is a short drive from Houston. We will definitely stay here again when we need to get away from the city."

"Myself and three of my friends spent two nights in this precious home. Wish we could have stayed longer! Close to town, yet quiet and remote. Most comfortable beds, ever! Charming and full of all needed amenities. We will definitely stay again. You won’t regret this booking. "
