"Don’t be put off by the slightly shabby outside. The reception is smart and the room (medium size with a sea view) was clean and nicely fitted out. Staff were all really friendly. "

"Gorgeous cliff top view of the sea from hotel room. Same amazing view from the dining room at breakfast. Continental only but we found it satisfying. We stayed in a room in the first floor which had up to date decor. Comfortable beds. A little bit of dust in places but you cannot completely remove all dust. I would say that you need a car to access south beach. Overall we were happy during our one night stay. "

"Staff were very helpful and friendly the phoned me before my stay to sort out a accessible room. The shower was amazing very powerful with 2 different heads to use, the beds were very comfortable and looked like a new carpet. Has a big car park so parking no problem and was free with the stay. Breakfast was very good not a huge selection of pastries or bread and scrambled eggs were alittle wet. I did here someone asked for fried and they wete very happy to do that, so I would ask next time. "

"Check in was very good. Friday night meal was ok, shame no mixed grill, steak, hunters chicken or pedigree bitter. Reported faulty shower 8.30am Saturday morning whilst having breakfast, my wife had a shower and if flooded the bathroom, including soaking the light fitting. She had to use all the towels to stop the bedroom flooding. I was unable to use it. "Perfect location next to the pub which does fantastic food. Very high end cottage in both style & comfort, very clean too & having a courtyard for the dogs was great as we could sit outside with them. Would definitely stay again. "
