I tried all day and it was so frustrating and worrying as we had no idea where we were going to sleep that night. I left it until 5pm and then found another place to stay. "Nice, if all you want is a "basic" pub room for the night. There was a good basic pub menu. A respectable sprinkling of locals seem to consider it where they go. Not a lot of "olde worlde charm", but the sheets were clean, the plumbing modern and worked. Good HVAC provision. I'd stay here again. Seemed to be owner/operated- always a plus in my book, and the people we met tried to please."

"We had the twin room with the bathroom across the corridor. Due to this dressing gowns were provided which were large and cosy. Very large room with space for 2 chairs and coffee table. Breakfast for £5 was amazing! Good ale. "
