"We stayed at the Crown overnight ahead of visiting family. Charlotte was a fantastic host, really friendly & welcoming. We booked a meal in the bar for the evening too, which was lovely. Food was great and staff were really friendly. We stayed in the Lennne double room which was very clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable nights stay, with a lovely walk-in shower.The building is very old and quirky, with low beams and ceilings, and little steps that you have to watch out for, therefore it may not be suitable for disabled visitors. But luckily for us that isnt an issue so the features add to buildings charm. A full English breafast was included the next morning, cooked my Charlotte. The service again was warm and friendly. Food was excellent, locally sourced meats with unlimed coffee. Absolutely perfect. We were made to feel very welcome, and would definitely return for another stay. Thank you Charlotte and the team! "We stayed here for one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. From the welcome on reception when booking in right through to checking out in the morning every member of staff who we interacted with was friendly, attentive and welcoming. We had a delicious 2 course meal in the evening and one of the best breakfasts we have had. The buffet breakfast was top rate with amazing sausages and bacon. Plenty alof variety available to choose from with the addition of a moce continental with cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruits, toast, preserves and pastries. We were made to feel welcome and valued at all times and enjoyed the personal treatment without it being over the top. All in all a great find, and coupled with the unexpected fine weather , it made for an unforgettable experience. Thanks to everyone It was clearly evident that every member of staff took a great deal of pride in their job and they are all a credit to the establishment."

"We arrived later than normal, but it was no trouble; we were shown to our room as though it was perfectly ordinary. Room was lovely - warm and spacious with a most comfortable bed. Everything you could wish for was supplied. Only possible downside was the rather transparent blinds and curtains - which could be a problem in the summer. Breakfast was perfectly cooked with a selection of cereals to start, all served by delightful and attentive staff. Thank you; we will be back!"

"Stayed one night. Lots of building work going on but not an issue. Staff food and room very good. Tried the container golf which was good fun. Only slight negative garden area looking a bit tired. Probably this would be given a freshen up before season starts. Overall definitely worth a visit / stay and would recommend. Would definitely go back as an ideal base if visiting north and west Norfolk."
