"Always enjoy our stay at Union Road , it is so convenient for visiting my family. They make you feel so welcome. I am sorry to say if there is one thing we don't like is the fact that the rooms are dog friendly, and we are not dog lovers. I don't know if all rooms are dog friendly but if they are it might be a problem for future stays as my wife can break out in a rash."

"I went to book into the hotel and it was closed, dark and empty. I tried to contact them on both numbers provided. Nothing. No answer, no call back. I tried all day and it was so frustrating and worrying as we had no idea where we were going to sleep that night. I left it until 5pm and then found another place to stay. "Julie my wife and I stayed at kates farm for three nights for a break and a rest, we had a great break and we are totally rested. Fantastic break, Julie and Kate walking dogs every morning and evening, I kept the real fire going and that was perfect for us to sit down next to in the evening. Others said the breakfast was great and they are correct, Kates breakfast was fantastic .Kate was very attentive at all times and we felt perfectly at home."

"We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. We really enjoyed our cold pond dips followed by warming up in the hot tub. This was already warmed up for us on arrival and lots of wood and starters...
