"We were looking for a place to stay that would accommodate our two grown sons, wives, and two grandchildren. For a large group, this fits the bill perfectly. We loved the layout, the large patios (top and bottom), the view of the lake, the boat slips, and all of the space to move around in. The kitchen fit our needs (we didn't use the one on the bottom floor) and the house had everything we needed. The boat launch is just around the corner. The slope of the driveway was our only challenge. ...

"Grandparents, adult kids, and 3 granddaughters with 2 dogs, we had the most relaxing time!! Everything we needed was onsite plus more- lots of games, fishing worms, firewood, fully stocked. We enjoyed the fire pit and a lot of time at the pier fishing- caught several. Plenty of room in the house, we had 7. My dogs loved the dog food/water area, toys, kennel, we didn’t even unpack everything we packed. Best time!!"

"The property is a hidden gem, and peaceful, quiet and cozy. Stayed during the Thanksgiving holiday and the Matthew was very communicative before, during and after booking. All necessities/amenities were provided as listed. Would definitely book again for future stays in Deridder."

It provided ample space for our family of five to sleep; however, the living room's furniture layout poses challenges for accommodating four or more people, as there’s just one recliner and a sofa that fits three. This isn't a complaint but rather a caution for anyone booking with a group larger than four."
