"Overall it was a lovely stay. The food was very good, both for breakfast and dinner. I also loved that they offered fresh juices, which is not something many places offer. I think the hotel rooms are in need of refurbishing as they are quite dated. I also think the hotel should definitely be fitted with air conditioning as it was far too hot throughout the whole hotel, in the gym and in our room. "Castel Rundegg is an old fashioned hotel in the very best sense. It is a beautiful building in a most beautiful town, with comfortable public areas and spacious well appointed bedrooms. Those who are looking for discos and fast food options might choose elsewhere, but it does offer superb cuisine, stunning gardens and an old world elegance. It also boasts extensive pool, sauna and spa treatments. We look forward to returning there."

"Der Hof ist sehr schön am Hang gelegen mit tollem Ausblick und direktem Zugang zu Wanderwegen. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen: die Kinder konnten im Stall mitmachen, Kaninchen und Kälbchen füttern, im Hühnerstall Eier einsammeln, im Heuschober toben. Außerdem wurden wir mit Eiern und frischer Milch versorgt. Der Garten lädt zum Ausblick genießen ein. Familie Alber ist sehr herzlich und authentisch. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal dort!"
