This was our 4th trip to the area in summertime but our first time that we hadn't stayed in an apartment. We decided to push the boat out a little this time and it was well worth it. However La Chapelle has a number of really good restaurants so every now and then we had an evening off and ate out. "The chalet/lodge is on the road from morzine to avoriaz just after the last hair pin bend, tucked in the loop of the bend.Parking for 2 cars just outside front door.The ski slope is just off the corner of the bend, with the slope leading down to the super morzine lift. "Our group of family and friends had a wonderful weekend in the mountains. This house was perfect for our group, with comfy beds and a nice, big gathering area. The hot tub was a hit with the kids. Our hosts were so accommodating and kind. We’d love to come back someday."

"This was our second stay in this chalet and we had another thoroughly enjoyable week. The chalet is warm and clean and benefits from the sun streaming into the property. Le Grand Bornand is a great village with restaurants and shops and the ski area is friendly and perfect for family or leisure skiing. Would be very happy to stay again some day !"

Il est très bien situé si vous voulez être au calme des stations, qui restent très proches (mais qui sont bondées lors des vacances scolaires donc beaucoup de circulation pour y accéder, mais des navettes sont à disposition proche du châlet.) There was some working around the hotel, but they did their best to accommodate our request for a quiet room, even letting us enter the room before check-in time.
