"Exceeded any expectations. We were greeted by a cute "fireplace" that was glowing in the darling main room. A super unexpected surprise awaited me, wishing me a happy 60th birthday. Cozy bed, clean bathroom/laundry facilities. Treats were placed around in clever containers and the dishes were so cute. The Banty Rooster is a special place. The owners make their guests feel special and they really put thought and care into everything. Loved it ;-)"

"While we enjoyed our stay, there were just a couple things that I felt could be improved upon.1. I could have used some guidance as to how to work the heating system since I was unfamiliar with the system at the cottage. 2. It was freezing outside, and being that I do not have a tub at home, I really wanted to take a relaxing soak in the tub but the bath plug would not work so I was unable to fill the tub with any water.3. We went to cook eggs but the frying pain was caked with old egg. We never...

"This cozy little cabin overlooking Lake Douglas at the marina seemed freshly updated and clean! It was perfect for my wife and I to meet up with our adult son for a quick weekend reunion. 2 bedrooms, a full bath, kitchenette, and a nice outdoor patio for when the weather is nice! Great stay! :)"

"The cabin has everything you need to feel at home, the bed is comfortable, shower is easy to operate, stocked with cooking pans and utensils as well as appliances. Place outside to sit and make smores or enjoy a small fire. Couldn’t ask for more at the price they have it. Loved our stay both times. "

"We enjoyed having the pool which was clean just needed a hand railing to enter, which the owner said he'd find out what happened to it. Enjoyed having the lake even though the gnats were bad near this end of it, it was great to kayak on. House was plenty big n had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay. While restaurants n other things to do were further away we enjoyed the location. Thanks for a lovely stay for the week"

"I stayed with my wife and mother in law along with my two dogs. It was very cute and clean. I loved how open it was for the dogs to run around. The road to get there can be challenging if you have a smaller car. Overall 9/10"

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Sally was also very prompt and helpful in responding and very accommodating for a late check in and early check out. "
