B&B in Bulgaria

"Perhaps it's my fault for not reading the initial listing for Guest House 32 closely enough, but I was unaware the toilet and shower were shared. The Expedia listing is confusing because it clearly states: "Extra conveniences in all rooms include: Rainfall showers and hair dryers". "The staff was great the food was yummy the location was out of this world. We loved the place so much we booked another night! It is located in a valley with a beautiful mountain stream where the mountains on either side of you shoot right up to the sky! A truly magical place."

"The ensuite room was clean and cosy with a lovely view of the garden. Breakfast was delicious and healthy, made fresh each day. When we requested dinner, this was also delicious and at a good price.The location was close some lovely towns and only 2.5hrs from Sofia. Wifi had good connectivity. The hosts were very friendly, had lots of suggestions for places to see and where to eat. They catered to us perfectly. Looking forward to coming again. "

But it has to be said that many areas of the country retain both their culture and way of life and this is true of this Hotel. "From the very beginning we could tell the hotel was going to be terrible, we booked a pool view room and got a dank and dark ground floor room. We stayed five nights. We complained about the room on the second day because you could hear everyone else's septic waste running through our bathroom, very loudly.
