"The property is wonderfully located. It is a nice historic house and the bedroom and bath are very spacious. The problem for us was that the tub is a high step over the rim and the shower is only hand held. Since my husband has double knee replacement, this was a problem and providing a step stool would have made life easier. Although I like a chilly bedroom at night, it was also quite cold during the day. The owner seemed quite put out that we mentioned these problems."

"The highlight of my stay here was the manager Martin. Martin was on beck and call, helping me with my every request. Martin even helped me get bubble wrap to safeguard my trinkets I bought while in Europe. The property is stunning and unique. "Incredible location! Perfect for our first trip to Ghent. Plenty of space for two of us (adults). The bathroom glass makes privacy an issue if you are not a couple, and as noted on many other reviews, the shower gets water all over the glory. Those small bathroom issues would not sway us from staying here again though. We loved the property and the vibe of the place. They have done an incredible job with preserving it. I highly recommend this as a place to call home during a Ghent visit."
