San Telmo is lovely and the hotel is located in a quaint cobblestoned street that is quiet for sleeping, but close to shopping and dining options, as well as a grocery store and the market. The staff are pleasant and the simple breakfast of toast or croissants, coffee and orange juice was very tasty. We also appreciated the fresh towels each day. "Front desk staff was very helpful. Special mention for Gonzalo. He helped us a lot with the areas to visit and the hop on hop off bus option. We had just one day to spend in Buenos Aires on our way back from our cruise. And I was too tired to do any research. He helped select nearest hop on points, get vouchers, held our luggage after checkout and arranged taxis. And he spoke English."

"My only comment (if any) was that there has to be an attendant at the desk to get in or out of the hotel. However, this seems to be a theme across the area as it was same at quite a few hotels (but not all). This can be inconvenient when you're just running in or out quickly and they step away. However it does ensure security of the property."
