You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Beekeeper's House

Two story brick colonial. Five bedrooms, 3 baths, large formal living room, dining room, den, and Florida room. The master bedroom accesses a second story balcony. The home's builder had two hobbies - Beekeeping and construction. Over the course of his career he built 13 of the homes on Enderly Heights.

Always a dog family we welcome your pets as you visit the colleges, breweries, wineries and the many natural wonders of the greater Buena Vista, Lexington and Rockbridge County area that include Natural Bridge and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The house includes use of the two-car garage. There are two “smart” TVs, the one in the den is 55” and has cable TV, an Apple TV subscription and Disney+. The second TV is in the master bedroom and includes access to Netflix.

In 2024 I plan to add security cameras in three areas to the exterior of the house - doorbell cameras on both doors and in the garage. No cameras in the house.

VMI 2024 Graduation
We gathered as a family to celebrate my nephews graduation from VMI. The location was easy to get into Lexington for all the Graduation events. We had 9 Adults staying at the home. We were able to celebrate our cadet and his friends and their families. Karen was every easy to work with and very responsive to all my questions. If you are looking for a place for the 2025 graduation season I would highly recommend this location!

Perfect for a 5 day stay
House is clean and has all the amemties we were looking for. The host's attention to detail was very evident as everything on our arrival was perfectly laid out. Beds were very comfortable. Neighborhood is super quiet and lots of trees and birds. We enjoyed our walks in the neighborhood each morning. One thing to be aware of - wifi was superfast on one side of the house but its range was not great to cover the opposite side of the house. Not a big issue at all.

They just do not make homes like this anymore. Plenty of space, beautiful molding and built-ins, custom cabinets and a wonderful sunroom with a doggie nook. The first thing Sidney does when we get to this house is go straight to get little cubby. Karen is amazing and we feel like home when we are there. She even decorated the home for Christmas just for us. She continues to do upgrades every time we visit. Honestly, it makes visiting our Virginia family so much better. I recommend this home and host!

This is the second time we have stayed here visiting family. Karen, the host, is amazing. This house feels like home. It is extremely pet friendly, and we enjoy having a place all our family can come together eat, enjoy conversation, and watch the game. Go Dawgs! We plan to stay here every time we visit Lexington. Great House
This is the best VRBO I have stayed in. Bedroom to bathroom ratio was perfect. Very clean property with nice personal touches. We had an event at the horse park, so it was about 15 minute drive -- I wish it was a little closer, but worth the drive to stay at a nice property.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. The hosts were fantastic and very helpful. The house was very spacious even for a large group or family. The decor is 1960’s style but with modern conveniences. Looking forward to returning when I am back at VMI or in the Lexington area.

Wonderful hosts!
We came to the area with seven family members to attend graduation at Washington and Lee. The house is just as described, with all the amenities we needed and more. It’s in a nice, quiet neighborhood, with shopping nearby. It has lots of sitting areas for socializing, and the bedrooms are spacious, with comfy beds. We would definitely suggest this place, and would stay again!

Lovely home
House is in a lovely neighborhood, everything was very clean, in working condition and as advertised. There are very limited rentals available in Buena Vista/Lexington area and it was nice to find a home to accommodate our family of four plus my parents. The home was decorated lavishly in the late 80’s or early 90’s I would guess and it looks exactly the same, but again very clean and stocked with plenty of nice linens and even a welcome treat basket when we arrived. Nice touch. We would stay here again. Just 2 suggestions to kick this VRBO up a notch (we travel often and have stayed in many rentals): 1) Hot water heater is too small for this large home with 3 bathrooms. With full flowing old shower heads and even 2 people showering at once, it runs out way too fast. Easy upgrade I would imagine. 2) Clear out much of the clutter on counters in kitchen, bathrooms etc. Simple is better and would help a bunch. Thanks for renting to us! Lovely home.
