"This was an amazing hotel to stay at in Budapest. Location was great, near St Stephen’s Basillica. The service and attention to detail is as good as I have seen in a hotel starting from the bellmen, the check-in process, and the wait staff at Breakfast. Our check person recommended restaurant and got us reservations. The rooms are very spacious with a big bathroom tub and shower. Our room had a balcony overlooking courtyard. Full breakfast that was complimentary. "

"Lovely hotel overlooking the Danube. Nice bar area and restaurant. Excellent buffet breakfast with a lot of choice. Room was a really good size with a fabulous view. The only negative is that the housekeeping was poor. Room was very dusty when we arrived and daily service wasn't great. This wouldn't stop me recommending the hotel though as everything else was lovely and we thorougly enjoyed our stay. "

"The shower was broken. I told the concierge on the first day, and after 4 nights there it was still not fixed. It floods past my ankles and sprayed everywhere and the shower head kept falling. Additionally, my water bottles were not replaced daily (even after leaving a note asking the cleaning person). I had to ask multiple times for more toiletries. "The hotel is best known for the ceilings in the restaurant which are beautiful. The entire stay there were long queues of people surrounding the hotel, waiting to eat in the restaurant, which was not bad but also not amazing. The hotel has the original building which is elaborate and older while my room was in a separate building which was newer. The room was nice and had good lighting and mood. However I couldn't get any heat so it was kind of cold the entire time which was not pleasant. It was...

"The hotel feels stuck in the 80s. Decor of the whole place is fairly grim. Rooms are big but we had no working fridge, tea or coffee making facilities or functioning air con. The air con turned on but sure as hell didn't do much and mostly smelled of cigarettes. As it was 35 degrees outside that was the major disappointment. Also the fuse box in the room tripped at least 2 times a day so we plunged into darkness randomly. On the plus side, the shower we had was good and when we got a fan from...

"Lovely little boutique hotel in a great location at Buda Castle. Quiet at night and has a great restaurant. Would happily visit again. Our suite was spacious and well appointed. "
