"We stayed one night - January 26. I came up from Boston with my adult child who had to take a training at the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine. Being January, everything in Castine was closed - no hotels, nothing. this was the next closest place. I was very pleased. THe room was pristine. Looks like brand new carpet and flooring. The room and bathroom were immaculate. THe beds were very comfortable and the towels were of high quality. "

"The property was just as described. The high ceilings were great for those over 6ft. The size of the bathroom was great. The trails off the backyard were great for a walk. The location wasn’t far from restaurants and attractions. "

"We had some issues upon check-in with the propane. They got it all sorted very quickly and were kind about the whole situation. The view is spectacular and area is peaceful. My kids were in awe of the amount of fish they caught right off the dock. The house is very well stocked with all you’d possibly need. We would stay there again! "

"The rental in this quaint town offers the perfect starting point to enjoy Downeast Maine. The house is well equipped for the needs of pet owners and their pets. The bed was comfortable, bathrooms were clean, and kitchen had ample supplies, including nice touches such as kitchen basic herbs/spices. Proximity to groceries, restaurants and delicious seafood takeout was ideal. Walking distance to the habor walking path was really enjoyable. We would choose this location again."
