"It’s a very welcoming hotel ideal location to surrounding areas - food and drinks are high standard. Just note if you don’t want scrambled eggs in the morning then tell staff when they seat you ( option poached or fried ) then they can get them cooking while you collect your breakfast otherwise you’ll be waiting and your breakfast from buffet selection ( full English ) will be cold. "

"Nice old hotel right in the seafront. Our room overlooked the gardens, beach and sea, well worth paying the extra. Food is really tasty. Excellent customer service."

"The hotel was lovely, the staff were lovely too the only downside was the hotel is on a busy 3 way junction which was noisy, especially with motorbikes revving their engines while waiting for the lights to change!! This was a pain at night, but take earplugs and its fine or if you are deaf like my husband, just take out your hearing aids out! Otherwise it was a lovely hotel, convenient to town and the Barbacan. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again"

"Ideally located hotel though parking on-site cost £16. Great value for money in a large clean room close for both the centre and Quay. Breakfast included in price a bonus. Paid a lot more for a lot less."

"It’s the car parking that closes at 11pm - you have to pay for the car parking. There isn’t any sign anywhere to direct you to where you have to park. That is the only reason I won’t be going back - everything else was amazing. "
