The property itself is charming, with the unique character and ambiance of a vintage pharmacy that adds so much personality to the experience. Added benefits were an elevator, a rooftop with incredible views, and nice hot shower. Juan at the front desk was exceptional—so helpful, friendly, and full of fantastic dinner recommendations. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!"

"I book this property because I needed an over night stay during my road trip through Portugal. My only regret not staying longer. Staff: Friendly, nice and very accommodating. Accommodations: the property has a unique design with a full service restaurant on the roof. The rooms are just pictured and surprisingly comfortable. Location: Central right by the bridge with shops and sights literally around the corner. Back to the food… I had one of the BEST shrimp dishes I’ve ever had in my life. I’m embarrassed to say it was so good I literally order two of them. Don’t let the concept of the hotel deter you. I had a very enjoyable stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat. "

"What an amazing place! The communal areas are fantastic and rich in art. The room was basic but to be expected from an old building. The staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for us. Overall we had an awesome stay! Oh better add the food was great."
