"I booked two rooms and one of the rooms had non-working A/C and a back door to a common veranda that wasn't possible to lock. The management promised to refund the room but no refund was made. Hotels.com told me the property refused to refund. They had washer and dryers that automatically shut off at night making it impossible to open up the washer door to retrieve your clothes - the door was locked as the program wasn't finished. "I booked this property so that I could join friends in a neighbouring village for a celebration. The property was quite basic for my taste and in a more rural area than I would have liked especially as I was driving on narrow country roads at night to return to the property. Thankfully it was a quiet enough area. The host Laura was very friendly and helpful. The apartment had everything that you needed but for my taste very basic. The garden area was nice and quiet. "We were two couples traveling together and we had this place to ourselves, it was like our private estate, loaded with beautiful antiques it is an old winery estate house, its in a fairly remote small town on a hill surrounded by grapes.Great views from the rooftop patio,, its not much to look at from outside the gate but inside, wow. we loved it, thanks very much for your kind hospitality Daniela."

The property is located in a charming village outside of Asti, with many nearby villages with delicious restaurants serving piemontese cuisine. Chiara and her family could not be more welcoming and helpful. My only regret is that our stay was too short. We look forward to returning soon."
